    As part of their expansion they have asked us to find them a new Junior National Account Manager.

    Introduction
    They enjoy a successful track record in many trade sectors right across the UK and beyond. They trade in over 37 International markets and they are well on our way to building a really great brand – but there is always more work to do….and that’s where you come in.
    Their multiple grocery business in the UK has enjoyed fantastic growth in the past couple of years and theycontinue to be the fastest growing Adult Soft Drink in the market for the 4th consecutive year (Kantar Worldpanel/IRI)
    They have identified the need to expand their team to continue to drive the Grocery & Online sectors of the business. They recognise this is a sector in which they perform well, but it still has plenty of opportunity for growth. 
     
     
    Reporting into the Business Unit Controller for Retail, this Junior NAM role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Junior NAM or ambitious NAE to be part of a great journey with a fast growing Health brand.
    You will receive training, coaching and encouragement to develop your account management skillset with key grocery multiples and online retailers.
    Responsibility and account lead on ASDA, Morrison’s, Ocado, Booths & CoOp will see your days filled with great opportunities to drive sales, raise brand awareness and out think the competition. Contributing in a real sense to the future of out brand in the UK
    You will also provide support within the business unit, inputting into trading strategy, gathering market intelligence and liaising internally with administrative and planning functions.
     
    The Role.
    • Day to day management and growth of Grocery business. 
    • Contract exposure, cost control, budgeting and forecasting of volume and value sales 
    • Develop strong customer relationships and strategically aligned Joint Business Plans for growth 
    • Build and develop internal working relationships with key departments such as Supply Chain, Sales Administration & Marketing 
    • Exposure to retailers systems such as Asda Retail Link, MSD, Olive, Coop portal etc. 
    • Presentation and negotiation including new listings, pricing and promotions 
    • Input into market and customer analysis, helping to drive our NPD agenda and overall trading strategies 
    • Manage internal systems such as SAGE, SharePoint, CRM • Grocery administration; promotional invoices, monthly sales preparation. 
    • Maximising category data to gain tangible results 
    • Store visits for compliance & market intelligence purposes
     
    Responsibilities.
    • Sales and account management experience coupled with business development skills.(experience of working in Grocery preferred) 
    • High standard of literacy and numeracy, with an emphasis on “commercial numeracy” 
    • Good general account management skills with an emphasis on trading negotiation, commercial & promotional planning and execution 
    • Organised individual – a self starter 
    • Intermediate competence in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint 
    • Good telephone/email/face to face meeting skills including presentation delivery to small and larger group audiences 
    • Drive and Determination to achieve targets and more! 
    • A good team player in a small group of colleagues, where it is essential that all staff co-operate and communicate effectively 
    • Confident, Resilient & Tenacious 
    • Enjoys working at pace and company/cultural engagement 
    • Home based, with UK wide travel and weekly office visits
