    Channel Manager-Food Service

    A core part of our client's business is the Food Service Channel. Tey have strong relationships with key players across the channel. They are looking for someone to manager those accounts and to develop the channel further. They are looking for an individual to be our leading light in Food Service.
    You will be tasked with developing and delivering the UK Foodservice sales plan to meet/exceed channel specific growth and profitability targets
    This is an important high profile role within the organization that offers great scope for career development and advancement.  
    Key Accountabilities
    Responsible for the delivery of UK Foodservice, sales plan to meet/exceed, revenue, EBIT and distribution targets 
    Account Management responsibility for selected Foodservice customers
    Accountable for continuous development of new business in line with strategic planning guidelines
    Develop, implement and maintain channel business plan in line with company targets launching NPD effectively
    Responsible for proposing and implementing effective spending of channel trade TPR budget to meet sales goals and return on investment criteria
    Negotiate annual and/or contractual trading agreements, with all expenditure scheduled and accrued with finance 
    Responsible for timely and accurate sales forecasting (97%+ accuracy)
    Responsible for timely and accurate monthly reporting and actions plans to achieve annual targets (including competitor activity)
    Build effective working relationships with internal colleagues to help develop sustainable business
    Accountable for the development of Sales Material used within the channel to be as influential as possible
    Responsible for effective contribution to the long term development of the UK sales organisation
    Ensure all customer files and call reports are accurate, up to date and filed in accordance with company standards
    Responsible for identifying training and development needs within EPC process
    Use EPOS & Industry data to observe trends, understand competitors, evaluate promotions and propose sales activity 

    It would be great if you had experience from one of these industries
    Food Service, Convenience, Out of Home experience
    Other Ingredients:
    Sound product/supply chain knowledge
    EPOS/IRI/ data analysis
    Excel, word, powerpoint to advanced level
    Technical Skills / Knowledge:
    Account management
    Analytical and data insight skills 
    Proven influencing and negotiation skills
    Strong written and verbal communications skills
    Project management skills
    Critical thinking
    Commercial judgment 
    Flexibility / adaptability
