  • National Account Manager, Export, Drinks, London based

    Our client supplies fruit purées and syrups to the on trade along with a range of cocktail mixers which feature in both bars and retailers. All  products are 100% natural. Our client is the leading supplier of fruit purées to the on trade in the UK and feature heavily in both National Accounts and independents. Our client is owned by a global soft drinks business so for the right candidate there are some fantastic career opportunities.Their mixers feature heavily in on & Off trade channels, high street retail and travel retail. 

    Our client currently export to over 24 countries with subsidiaries in the US and France. Export revenues have helped to take the  brand further and wider and this continues to be an important part of the company’s future plans. For this reason, the business now requires to grow the existing export team to help deliver the business plans in export.  This role will report to the Export Manager and is a fantastic opportunity to work with a growing business delivering key markets.


    To deliver the export strategy for the brand in priority markets, and exceed growth expectations for the brand with passion, energy and flair. This will require a strong communicator who wants to take a first step into international markets and has a desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment. 

    Key Accountabilities: 
    To develop, manage and deliver the strategy and objectives for agreed export and travel retail customers, to ensure these plans align with the overall business and commercial objectives and brand plans.
    Identify new potential markets and customers through research and targeted prospecting. To deliver new distribution and volume by successfully opening up new markets based on export strategic goals  
    To drive new distribution and organic brand growth in key markets through an agreed promotional plan.
    To support and assist the export Manager as required. 
    Working with the commercial and marketing team, sell in NPD and activate within agreed markets, ensure all elements of the promotional execution are evaluated and where ROCE is demonstrated, they are deployed in other markets. 
    By working globally with spirit brands, build new relationships and identify joint opportunities whereby we can deliver programs to customers and consumers that leverage each other’s proposition and  deliver incremental sales and brand building opportunities 

    Desired Skills & Experience
    A Graduate with 2 to 3 years of FMCG sales experience, will probably have a background in the UK On & Off trade and may have had direct accountability for managing a portfolio of export customers.  The ideal candidate will have some experience within FMCG Drinks and preferably BWS. The successful applicant will manage an agreed portfolio of export customers. We are looking for a creative, tenacious individual who has a strong understanding of brands and can work well within a small team.  They need to have great presentation skills and be strong commercially with a track record of delivering outstanding results.  Additional languages are strongly desired but candidates with good experience without languages will be considered.  The role is based in our client's London office but there will be some scope for home working.
